Rabbit, Bear and the dangerous mountain

One day Rabbit said to Bear "Shall we climb to the top of the dangerous mountain? I've heard the fruit there is really delicious".

"No." said Bear, "I'm scared. I've heard there are lots of monsters on the dangerous mountain."

"Oh come on." said Rabbit, "I'm not scared of monsters. And I really want to eat that fruit."

"Oh OK." said Bear reluctantly.

Together they slowly climbed to the top of the dangerous mountain. The view was beautiful. And then they saw a garden filled with fruit. Peaches, pears, apples, oranges, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries..... They started to eat. The Rabbit from the apple tree and the Bear from the blueberry bushes.

All of a sudden they heard a scart sound. "Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. What are you doing in my garden? Why are you eating my fruit? I'm going to eat you for my lunch."

It was the biggest monster they had ever seen. He had a huge green face covered in spikes and a big mouth full of enormous and very sharp teeth.

Rabbit paused from munching apples and said, "Please don't eat us. We were only trying to help you. We heard this fruit wasn't nice and we didn't want you to get tummy ache."

The monster immediately became less angry and said "Thank you. Wait, I'll get you some sacks and you can take the bad fruit away for me."

He went away and returned with two huge sacks, one for Rabbit and one for Bear. They both filled their sacks with the fruit and made their way back down the dangerous mountain.

When they got to the bottom they invited all their friends to a delicious fruit party.
